Bengkulu is set to have a new media platform focused on highlighting its regional potential. Drs. H. Achmad Sardi HS, M.Si., the founder of www.sardiforbengkulu.com, recently announced a major plan to develop an online portal that showcases Bengkulu’s richness to the world.
“I just realized that Bengkulu has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, the world doesn’t know much about it,” said Sardi enthusiastically during a conversation with Ahsantany, the Chief Editor of www.sardiforbengkulu.com. He is determined to continue uncovering and publishing everything interesting about Bengkulu.
As an initial step, Sardi plans to invite Ahsantany to visit Bengkulu for exclusive interviews with various sources, including the Governor, Regents, community leaders, and other relevant figures. “We want to hear directly from them about Bengkulu’s potential and how the region can further develop,” he added.
The discussion became even more intense as they decided on the official name of the platform, www.sardiforbengkulu.com. Sardi also wants to ensure that this media can reach a global audience by providing news in three languages: Indonesian, English, and Arabic. “Hopefully, the messages we convey will attract international attention and encourage more people to visit Bengkulu,” he stated.
Before closing the meeting, Sardi mentioned that discussions would continue after his return from the Umrah pilgrimage. He hopes that an initial demo of the portal will be ready for evaluation at the next meeting.
